Plain, WA

We spent one day driving around Fish Lake and then another driving over to Wenatchee Lake.  It is a very pretty lake. The dogs went in the water and I actually got Nicky to swim.  While he held onto a stick with his mouth I just kept pulling him out deeper and deeper and pretty soon his legs were going. Who says you cannot teach an old dog new tricks.

This is Wenatchee Lake and it is very pretty. The sad part is the fires over in Wenatchee left a haze over the mountains.

All right you guys,let's play stick.

Nicky was finally tired out enough to just chill for awhile.

We had excellent Espresso milkshakes from the concession stand.

Nice church we attended in Plain.  Great sermons and very friendly people.

There are some very nice trails in the campground.  This one takes you along a canal and Nicky loves being able to jump in and cool off along the way.
 One of my favorite things about Washington is the berries. We have eaten lots of red raspberries, blue berries, cherries, and blackberries. Oh are they good.
