We had another beautiful day. It was about 75 today and sunny. A perfect day to take a hike. I got up and did 25 laps in the pool and then we packed a picnic lunch and took off for our hike. Today's hike was about 6 and one half miles. The uphill stuff was treacherous at times. Nicky did so well considering he is now 10 and one half years old.
This peacock hangs in the campground and eats the plums that fall off the plum trees that are all over the park.
This is part of Angel Falls
Nicky and I decided that this reminded us of Arches NP the only difference is that this is not a rock but a root!!!

Me under Angel Falls.
The Redwoods have nothing over these beautiful trees in the forest here. You just keep looking up.
The trail went right along this ledge.
Almost to the top!!
Canopies of moss covered trees.
Many moments you felt like you were in a rain forest.
This is looking back at our stay at Leavenworth with Jim and Tracy hanging at the swimming hole.
Bridge on trail today.

This flower was along the trail----isn't it awesome.
Nicky and I are tired. I think we'll get ready for bed soon.
