Banff campground
We went to visit the hot springs which were a big draw for tourism in the early years of the park.
I would like to have put my sore shoulders in the hot springs but they were only open at one spot and it was $7.00 a dip.
At one time the building that now houses the Museum was a big hot springs pool. The Cave and Basin as this area is called was the start of Canada's National parks. It was the first place to be designated as National Land.
Canada is full of lakes. This is Johnson Lake.

These pictures were taken with a special effects soft lens. I don't like it.
Here's one of the lake without the filter.
The Chalets behind out camp site.
Nicky is having great fun with the Prairie dogs which are all over outside our camper.
I'd love to be giving a lot more information but I am on the campground Internet for a limited time in a Canadian campground.
