It is lovely here. Our first trip was to the Cave and Basin. This was actually the start of the Canadian National Parks.
Three men looking for gold in this area came across this hot spring. They went down into the cave on this tree.
It does look inviting.
Think of how these cowboys must have enjoyed this when they were used to bathing in cold glacier fed streams.
Part of the Museum tour. The importance of the Cave and Basin site is that it was the first land set aside by the government as national park.
Back then this entire museum site was hot springs pools.
Vermillian lake
This is what Jim and I refer to as Wave mountain.
Every scenic overlook or spot where you would stop has somewhere in that area 2 red Adirondack chairs. These chairs were located at the Marble Canyon hike.

The following are scenes along a beautiful dog walk in the campground.
That red silt that was posted previously is described here.
scenes on the ride home.

A 40 day fire burnt this area but the flowers are still there.
These chairs were located at the hoodoos outlook
Beautiful anywhere you look.
