We stayed at Medina Lake campground. We had a couple of days of rain. Off and on kind of rain. But still, it's Texas it isn't supposed to rain here. The day before we left it was sunny and 86 degrees. Go figure, it's been freaky weather everywhere jumping all around.

This is the Medina lake damn. Nothing is flowing over. The portion of the lake in front of the campground is totally dried up. The drought is still terrible here.
As we drove to the damn we passed this beautiful fall scene. I did not expect to see this kind of color in Texas.
We went to the River Walk in San Antonio. This was our third time here and it never fails to impress me.
In the midst of a big city there is this wonder land. The water, the plants, and cafes and restaurants everywhere.

We had a really good Mexican lunch in this courtyard.

We drove around what is called the hill country of Texas. We visited the town of Bandera known as the cowboy capital of the world. Bandera is where the cattle drives all began.

Well, I'm going to bed. We made it through another third of Texas today. Tomorrow we will drive into Las Cruces, New Mexico.
