Drake Park,OR/ Sisters,OR/ trip to Karen's

Before we left Bend we went into town and strolled along the river in Drake Park.

The Next day we drove to Sisters, OR with Marvin and Marie and had a lovely day shopping and having lunch in a lovely outdoor cafe.

A beautiful drive over to Sisters

The most unusual furniture so unique.

The wood sculpting and iron sculpting was beautiful.

Cinderella would love this

My sister in law would love this place.

Price tag $1,295

This can be yours for a mere $24,000. Don't jump on that.

We had a lovely lunch here.

This is one of the most beautiful outdoor seating arrangements I have ever seen.

Could you not snuggle up with a good book out here.
Lee could build me one of these too.

Marvin and Lee enjoying the best apple fritters I've ever tasted and that's saying a lot coming from a PA dutch girl.

Just had to throw this in.  This is Marvin and Marie's dog, Dudley.  He and Nicky loved chasing the Prairie dogs together.  Both of them, stick their heads all the way in the holes.

After getting 3 cortisone shots in my shoulders at the orthopedic surgeon, we left to head to Mill Valley to visit our daughter, Karen.  This is a sample of the smoke we traveled through on our way south.

Mount Shasta lies beyond that smoke.

You can almost see the outline of the mountain in this picture.

This is what is left of Lake Shasta.  It looks like a river not a lake.

Lake Shasta

We spent the night in a casino parking lot and then the next day traveled the rest of the way to Karen's.
