Back at Menifee in south central CA

I know it has been a while since you have heard from me. The reason is we are back in a campground we were in earlier so we have done a lot of the same things I already reported on but I will attempt to cover a few new events on this trip. The weather has been gorgeous in low 80's during the day and 50's at night which is nice for sleeping. The flowers are just now coming into bloom here and it's a very pretty sight.

While at the campground this time we finished waxing the camper and Lee repainted all the cubby handles. Lee pulled his back playing pickle ball so he had to lay off that for a while which is killing him.

While here this time we did find a dynamite church to attend. Great sermons and a really good women's Bible study. The church is called Revival Christian Fellowship and is located on Scott Rd. for those of you who visit this park.

This is the campground at Wilderness Lakes

I don't know what it is about Nicky and little girls but this is his new love Vivian isn't she the most beautiful little girl?

While here this time we went over to old town Temecula and had a lovely lunch with a couple from here.

Remember the metal art I had in a previous blog? The artist has a shop here--it is the middle picture on the bottom.

Nicky finally got his day at the beach.  What amazes me is how there always seems to be a little dog who loves to just follow Nicky around. The owner of the little dog told me her dog just felt very comfortable with Nick.

As I said the flowers here are just beginning to pop out. Everyday a new one emerges.

One day we went over to Santa Rosa Plateau and hiked an 8 mile trail with Nicky.

This is a road just outside the campground that I love to ride my bike on.

This is the view from our campground.

This is the church we've been attending only a couple miles from the campground. They hold 3 services on Sunday and one on Saturday  and the auditorium holds 1,000 so they must be doing something right.

Prior to church, there is coffee at the Revival Grounds Cafe.

There is a lovely development close by that we like to do on our bikes.

What a pretty place to live.

We sat in this gazebo and took a little rest.

I loved the trees in the Santa Rosa Plateau park.

The thing that brought me the most joy here was our 22 mile bike ride around Diamond Lake.

We had lunch here.  There are picnic and porta potties along the trail.

We were warned that the rattle snakes were out!!!  So glad my eyes  were on the road at this moment instead on the scenery.

The scenery along the bike trail is spectacular and all the flowers are just starting to bloom.

The water was so blue.

Nicky says take care and love one another --- that's what I do every day give out the love.
