We were in this campground for three weeks. While there we visited 3 lakes, went bike riding, drove to Idyllwild, CA and drove to Dana Point beaches. The mountains surrounding the area were beautiful. The weather has been extraordinary --- running from 67-77 which I think is perfect. Sunshine every day. We had a couple of rain showers at night but that was it.
This is a lake we came across in Idyllwild area very pretty. They were pulling out some beautiful rainbow trout.
Another picture of the same lake.
This was Lee's first Geocach find. If you don't know what Geocaching is look it up on google. There is a phone app for this. Bring it up on your phone and it will tell you what buried treasures are in your area. You find them and then return them for the next person to find. If you take anything out it is OK as long as you put something in. It's a lot of fun and we did this with Scott, Braden and Mckensie , part of the Holmes family. These guys are a tremendous Christian family that we enjoyed spending time with.
Nicky just adored Mckensie.
As you can see we had a nice site. Lee is sitting on the swing he attaches to the RV and it looks out over the canal in the back of us. Also fortunate enough to have a nice shade tree.
One of the canals in the campground.

This is pretty much the area surrounding the campground. To see all that green it is hard to believe they are in the 4th year of drought.
Skinner Lake a county park close by. Emergency domestic water supply.

This is just a picture I took while out bike riding close to the park. Again it gives you a good idea of the surrounding area.
I'm putting this picture in for Jim Rankin who just loves these antique cars. This was really in mint condition.
The outdoor market we went to made me feel like I was back in Spain with Jim and Jane.
We are just beginning to see all the flowers come into bloom here.
We are presently at an Escapees park in Aguanga, CA and this is the most spectacular park I have ever been in. It was built and is maintained by member volunteers. If Lee and I were ever going to purchase a lot it would be here. No we are not in any position to do that. I'll tell you more about it next blog.
I hope this blog finds you all healthy, happy and hopefully keeping warm. Love to all Judy and Lee
